Clyde Gives Back Through ABS-CBN’s ‘Mission Possible’

As part of Clyde Premium Shoe Cleaner’s pro-social initiatives, the company extends a helping hand on ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs’ ‘Mission Possible’, a public service program hosted by veteran broadcast journalist Julius Babao, in providing opportunities and empowering well-deserving Filipino families to attain the unachievable.

At a young age, Marjon Pajaroja became a vagrant along the streets of Manila when his parents got separated. He even faced a short stint in making trouble and bending the law just to survive. Later on, he came across Butch, who became his foster father, guided and nourished him despite going astray in the recent years. Marjon changed and discovered his talent in writing songs and rapping and eventually shared his flair in music to others who are down-and-out.

Babao and the ‘Mission Possible’ team together with Clyde Premium Shoe Cleaner trooped to Tondo, Manila to reward Marjon’s selflessness and resilience and teaches fellow Filipinos a valuable lesson – the joy of helping others despite of trying times.

‘Mission Possible’ and Clyde Premium Shoe Cleaner found out that Marjon’s five children are set to attend primary school. Given budget challenges, Marjon can’t dip into his own pocket in providing them the school supplies that his children need.  We help improve the situation by pledging pre-assembled backpacks filled with essential school supplies and hygiene kits to his five children.

‘Mission Possible’ and Clyde Premium Shoe Cleaner believes that quality education is one child’s foundation which drives them to grow with wisdom and intelligence backing with the right tools – providing basic school supplies.
