Privacy policy

Clyde Krent Co. ("we", "us") respects your privacy and handles personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission.

What we collect

  • Name, delivery address, email address, and contact number
  • Order details and purchase history
  • Payment confirmation details (we do not store full card numbers — online payments are handled by our payment service providers)
  • Messages and attachments you send us about an order or concern
  • Website usage data — such as pages viewed, the device and browser you use, and actions like adding a product to your cart — collected through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies, analytics and advertising" below)

How we use it

We use your personal data only to:

  • Process, fulfil, and deliver your order
  • Communicate with you about that order, including delivery updates and claim handling
  • Respond to your questions, concerns, and support requests
  • Meet our recordkeeping obligations under Philippine tax and consumer law

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not send you marketing emails or messages unless you have separately and explicitly opted in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. We use website usage data to understand how our store is used and to measure and improve our advertising, as described below.

Who we share it with

Only where necessary to complete the purposes above:

  • LBC Express and any other courier we use — name, address, and contact number, so your order can be delivered and any courier claim can be filed
  • Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which hosts the store and processes orders
  • Payment processors — to authorize and confirm your payment
  • Government authorities — only where required by law, subpoena, or lawful order
  • Meta and Google — website usage data collected through cookies, for analytics and advertising (see "Cookies, analytics and advertising")

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies from:

  • Shopify — to run the store, keep your cart, and provide basic store statistics
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — the Meta Pixel records visits and actions on our website, such as viewing a product or adding to cart, so we can measure our ads and show relevant ads to people who have visited our store
  • Google Analytics — to understand how visitors find and use our website

These providers process this data under their own privacy policies. You can manage or refuse non-essential cookies through the cookie settings on our website or your browser settings, and you can control how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. Blocking cookies may affect some features of the store.

Retention

We keep order records for the period required by Philippine tax and accounting rules, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized. Support messages not tied to an order are kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter.

Security

We apply reasonable organizational, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Access is limited to personnel who need it to do their work.

Your rights

Under RA 10173 you have the right to be informed, to object, to access, to rectify, to erasure or blocking, to damages, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email rcpro@letsclyde.com with your Order ID and the request. We will respond within a reasonable period.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
